Japanese Lantern

I know, I know.  I said a picture a day, and I actually took this last night.  But I am just trying to make it past the 2 posts of the last blog, so cut me some slack here.  Besides, this one is worth it.

I took this from the deck of a friend's house last night.  We stopped by after trick or treating for a bowl of the amazing chili that they serve every Halloween.  They have a deck that looks down on the patio, and while I was checking it out with the boys, I was smitten by this lovely Japanese lantern.  I am experimenting with no flash and I think it worked out nicely this time.
