All spruced up for Thanksgiving

I can't tell you how much fun it was to decorate the house for Thanksgiving.  Here are some of the things I did (often with help from my 2 budding crafters/artists/designers.)

This is one of the fabrics I used for the napkins.  You'll see how I used these fabrics all over. We also made place cards, which were a big hit with the boys.

We covered the kids' (and single guys') table in butcher paper, and Aaron drew turkeys on it for the kids to color.  The single guys colored too.  You can also see our glitter crafts were used as centerpieces (cheap and easy!).  I color copied the fabric to use as my runner, which was just a bunch of circles cut our of paper and taped together.  Again, cheap and easy--James helped me make it.

I jazzed up my boring white candles with some leftover fabric and a little glue.

The tablecloth was a white piece of cheap fabric, hemmed up.  Good thing we had a narrow table!

We also made a garland to hang in the window to match our runner.  One one side it said, "Give Thanks" and on this side it had some of our glittery leaves.  I took it down today and William was so sad.  I promised him we'd make a Christmas one soon.  So, more pics coming your way!

I am glad you do this kind of stuff with your kids! You are going to have the most artistic kids ever! With genes from Aaron and your craftyness they are bound to be marvolous artists! And look at you you put all this together while managing a house hold of five! Wonder woman has got nothing on you!
